Brought it back to my neighborhood. Set it up on the roof of Bar Tabac and projected across the street. hauled in 350 txt messages that night, the bubbles were busy. Thanks to the always lovely Leia and Jordana for handing out the digits.
Yup that’s right, Beijing baby! I was working with a crew from Parsons (Ben Bacon, Sven Travis, and Walid Mohanna) on an installation to go inside the Millennium Museum in Beijing. After the opening night, with help from my posse, I projected on the museum and passed out the number to the people playing in the nearby park.
With the help of an aspiring video artist Fiona Kluck I was able to make arrangements with the local bar, Festina Lente, and projected on their wall… hard to find open walls in amsterdam, lots of windows though. More pics to come…

Street lighting was terrible, but managed to get a lot of public participation. Ran the projector off my truck battery using a 750 watt DC to AC converter.
Corner of Hoyt & Douglass. The Kids fom the Gowanus Projects (GP’s) came out and put up some thoughts. Mind you the language is a little punchy.
Cruised around projecting on different buildings. This was an initial test for running the projector off my truck battery, and feeling out streetlight levels.
